Dr. Greg Burrows is a graduate of Southern College of Optometry in
Memphis, Tennessee. He began practice in Benkelman in 1976. Prior to
receiving his degree from Southern College he attended the University
of Nebraska and then spent four years in the United States Marine
Corps. In 1985 Dr. Tim Burrows joined the Benkelman practice. Later
that year the brothers opened a new practice in McCook. Dr. Greg
continues to practice in Benkelman and in the McCook office 1 ½ days a
week. His main hobby is a
1930 Ford streetrod. Greg and his wife, Jeanene, belong to the
United Methodist Church. He is a member of the Benkelman
Lions Club and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Dr. Greg is a member of the Nebraska Optometric Association and the
American Optometric Association.
Dr.
Tim Burrows, is a 1985 graduate of Southern College of Optometry and
is listed in "Who's Who Among Students". Prior to his enrollment at
SCO, he attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and completed
undergraduate studies at the University of Memphis. Dr. Tim believes
operating the clinics as a partnership is beneficial for our
patients.
Dr. Tim and his wife, Sharon, have two daughters and reside in McCook.
He currently serves on the Evangelical Free Church board. He has
also been involved with the Chamber of Commerce/Leadership McCook
steering committee. On a professional level, Dr. Tim is on both the
Peer Review and PAC committee of the Nebraska Optometric
Association. As time allows, he enjoys motorcycling and an
occasional game of racquetball and golf.
Dr. Tim is a member of the Nebraska Optometric Association and the
American Optometric Association.
